The Hon. Jihad Dib MP is the NSW Minister for Youth Justice, Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government, and Minister for Emergency Services, and the Member for Bankstown. With a strong commitment to community, inclusion and opportunity, Jihad brings extensive experience in education, public service and community leadership. Prior to entering NSW Parliament in 2015, he served as Principal of Punchbowl Boys’ High, where he worked closely with students, families, community organisations and government agencies to create positive change and improve outcomes for young people. As Minister for Youth Justice, Jihad is focused on supporting effective approaches that help young people build safer futures, strengthen communities and create pathways for positive participation in society.
