Jemma is a passionate and trauma-informed social worker with experience supporting women impacted by incarceration, domestic and family violence, homelessness and systemic disadvantage. Currently working as the Program Lead for the From Now Program, she is known for her strong advocacy, compassionate approach and ability to build genuine relationships with clients navigating complex challenges.
With a background in frontline support, case management and community engagement, Jemma is deeply committed to creating safe, empowering spaces for women to rebuild their lives. She brings a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach to her work, balancing empathy with practical support and strong coordination skills.
Alongside her professional work, Jemma is also a community leader and Indonesian dance teacher, passionate about culture, connection and mentoring young people. Her work is grounded in social justice, dignity and the belief that everyone deserves opportunities to heal, grow and thrive.
