Devon Cuimara is a Nyungar man from the South West of Western Australia with family connections to the Wadjuk, Balardong, Yuet, Yellonga and Amangu peoples.
Currently a guest on Nyiyaparli Country in the Pilbara, Devon works with Martu men from the Great Sandy Desert who have used violence, supporting healing and wellbeing initiatives with the permission and guidance of Elders from Pitjikala and Manyjilyjarra.
As Director of Western Aboriginal Family Legal Services, Devon brings deep cultural knowledge and frontline experience to justice reform, advocating for community-led solutions that prioritise healing, prevention, and stronger outcomes for Aboriginal families and communities.
