Bianca Dufty is a proud Ngemba and Gamilaraay woman and the Deputy Children’s Guardian at the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian. She is a highly respected Aboriginal lawyer and senior leader with more than a decade of experience strengthening child protection, family law and culturally safe practice across New South Wales.
Prior to her appointment, Bianca held senior leadership roles at Legal Aid NSW, including Deputy Director of Family Law, and led the Aboriginal-led Family Law Service for Aboriginal Communities. Her work has focused on early intervention, accountability and embedding Aboriginal leadership within systems that impact children and families.
Bianca brings deep expertise in children’s rights, oversight and reform, with a strong commitment to keeping Aboriginal young people safe, connected to family and grounded in culture.
